What is Webathena?

Webathena is a browser-centric implementation of the Kerberos network authentication protocol. Kerberos provides a secure means for users and services to prove their identities to each other, even over insecure networks. It ensures that your password never leaves this page in any form, and services never have more permissions than they need. Webathena is a project of MIT SIPB. ©2013 davidben and cesium, released under the MIT license.
